ITINERARY
Day 1 Venice
At the airport of Venice, meet your tour escort who will stay with you throughout the entire stay in Italy. From the airport, while the luggage will be transferred to the hostel in Mestre, the group will board a private boat sailing to St Mark's Square where a professional guide will be waiting for it. Guided tour of city including the Doges' Palace and St Mark's Cathedral. At the end of the visit, the group will be transferred to the hostel in Mestre and check-in. Dinner
Day 2 Venice
Transfer to Venice where the group will enter a Venetian mask workshop. In the afternoon, the group will board a private motorboat to sail to two of the three islands of the lagoon: Burano and Murano where you will also visit a glass factory. Sail back to Venice and then to the hostel in Mestre.
Day 3 Bologna - Florence
Check-out and transfer by coach southwards to Florence. On the way stop in Bologna, the chieftown of Emilia Romagna, the region famous for the Motor and Food Valleys. Guided tour of Bologna, home of the oldest university in the world whose foundation dates back to the eleventh century. In the afternoon, you will continue the transfer to Florence where a guide will be waiting for you to take you on a guided tour of this Renaissance city. After the visit, reach the hotel and check-in
Day 4 Lucca - Pisa
Today you will visit the famous Leaning Tower in Pisa and the other monuments located in the Miracles’ Square before reaching Lucca, one of the best well-preserved wall-towns in Europe. The visit of Lucca will be made by bike. Back to the hotel late in the afternoon
Day 5 Siena - San Gimignano
Full-day excursions to San Gimignano, the Medieval with its towers, the first skyscrapers in the world, and Siena, famous for the Palio, the horse race run since the 17th century. Back to the hotel late in the afternoon
Day 6. Florence - Rome
Check-out transfer to Florence for a guided tour of the Academy Gallery. By midday, depart towards Rome and when you arrive, you will enter a orientation guided tour of the main monuments of the Capital of Italy. Check-in
Day 7 Rome
This morning, you will visit the Capital of Italy following the theme of the Roman Empire including a guided tour of the Colosseum. In the afternoon, it will be the turn of the Baroque, very well represented by the famous square and fountains located in the pedestrian area of the city: Trevi Fountain, Navona Square, Spanish Steps. You will also visit the Pantheon. A guide will be with you all day long.
Day 8 Pompeii - Vesuvius volcano
Today the group will travel for few hours down to Naples and more precisely to Pompeii for a guided tour of the excavations. After the visit, it will be the turn to visit the Vesusvius, one of the volcanoes of Italy. Back to Rome late in the afternoon.
Day 9 Rome
Today is the tour of the Christianity. You will start in the morning with the visit of the Catacombs to then go in the afternoon to the Vatican to visit the Museums, the Sistine Chapel and the St Peter's Cathedral.
Day 10 Departure
Check-out and transfer to Rome Fiumicino airport
